Hello! I'm Sheps, an independent maker of things. I'm currently finishing my BA(HONS) degree in photography in Manchester, UK and am expanding my practice across artistic mediums to truly align with my practice. Thematically, the subjects of my work depend entirely on its form, documenting nostalgia, memory and human connection through analogue photography, and experimentation in everything else.  

My most recent project is the mail club I started in September 2025! 

I’m one of those people who wants to try everything and do everything, so I started this mail club to share all of the things I do with people who are interested in the same things!

Really, it’s just me creating loads of extra work for myself, but I always think that if it were me on the receiving end, I’d love a bit of reassurance that you don’t have to stick to just one way of creating! Plus I’ve been told that receiving mail from me is like having a Pinterest board come straight to your door. Also, a bit of tactile connection is never lost in this world!

I love printmaking and bookbinding and I write and paint and draw photograph and make marks on paper. Sign up to my mail club and expect a one of these goodies each month, a print of one of my paintings, and a letter detailing that month’s work!
